Barbara Franklin brings to individuals, couples, and
families an extensive background as a specialist in
long-term care planning and financing. She works closely
with estate planners, attorneys, and banking professionals
and offers an independent perspective on reverse mortgages
as a tool for long term care financing.
Barbara is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She
is currently on the Advisory Board of the American
Association for Long Term Care Insurance and also
serves as President of the Lowcountry Senior Network, an
organization for senior service providers. In addition she
serves on the Board of the Trident Area Agency on Aging and
the Advisory Council of the Lowcountry Senior Center on
James Island and is the Immediate Past President of the
Lowcountry Senior Network. |

As a Business
Development Specialist for Franklin Funding, David is
responsible for building relationships with financial
institutions, senior service providers and other centers of
influence in the senior community. His goal is to help them
gain an understanding of how reverse mortgage products work
and how they can help their clients reach a wide range of
financial goals.
David has served on the Board of Directors of the Lowcountry Senior
Network, an organization for senior service providers, and
continues to be an active member. David is also a member of
the South Carolina Mortgage Brokers Association, the
Mortgage Lenders Association of Greater Charleston and the
South Carolina Aging in Place Coalition. He is a graduate of
Winthrop University and recently received his Masters in
Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University in
Charleston. |

As a reverse mortgage Loan Officer of Franklin
Funding, Paul helps individuals, couples and
families with a wide variety of financial and family
issues. He is a Registered Investment Advisor whose
experience assures he can meet the needs of mature
adults and their families with complicated and
difficult planning issues. In addition to assisting
clients with reverse mortgages, Paul has created a
network of top professionals to help provide a
breadth of solutions. Paul received a Bachelor of
Arts Degree from the University of South Carolina.
He lives in Columbia with his wife and two
daughters. |

Thayer Toner,

Thayer
Toner brings a diverse banking and business
background to his role as a Reverse Mortgage
Specialist and has enthusiastically embraced the FHA
Reverse Mortgage program as “Congress’s best
legislation for seniors since Social Security and
Medicare”.
Thayer grew up on a corn and cattle farm near Shelbyville, Indiana.
He has a Degree in Psychology from Indiana
University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Trade
from the Thunderbird Graduate School for Global
Management in Phoenix. He served in the U.S. Air
Force as a Russian linguist in Bavaria, Germany.
Thayer later worked for 21 years in banking in
Indianapolis, in New York on Wall Street, in Bogotá,
Colombia, and was the first Executive Vice President
of the Bank of Beaufort, South Carolina. In Naples,
Florida Thayer organized and managed the Mortgage
Loan Department at Citizens National Bank. He
returned to South Carolina and lives in Aiken with
his wife and teenage daughter. He is active in the
AARP, the Community Service Network of Aiken and was
named Kiwanian of the Year. |

Terrance Bethea,

As a
reverse mortgage Loan Officer for Franklin Funding,
Terrance brings a wealth of knowledge with over
twenty years experience in the financial industry.
He grew up in Dillon, SC and received his Bachelors
degree from St. Augustine College in Raleigh, NC.
Currently Terrance is originating reverse mortgages
in Columbia, SC; where he lives with his wife and
two children. Terrance is very active in his church
as a trustee and enjoys taking part in a monthly
outreach program that feeds the homeless. Terrance
has a real love for working with seniors and is
currently on the board of veneers for the SC
Commission of the Blind. |

Mamie Harris,

Mamie
has worked in the field of Social Work, assisting
the Pee Dee region of South Carolina, for over 19
years. It is through this experience that Mamie is
able to help seniors attain and understand
governmental assistance programs. As a reverse
mortgage Loan Officer for Franklin Funding, Mamie is
able to use FHA’s Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM)
reverse mortgage to further help seniors in her
community. Mamie is a graduate from the University
of South Carolina and is currently seeking her
Masters in Counseling from Webster University. Mamie
lives in Lake City, SC where she is very active in
her church as the Community Resource Director. |

Ashley is a graduate
of NC State University, with a Bachelors degree in
Accounting. She has over six years of experience
originating loans and has been processing mortgages,
both conventional and reverse, for the last seven
years. Ashley works from her home in Atlanta, GA.
and is married with two daughters. She has been with
Franklin Funding since February 2006. |

Heather is a
graduate from Peace College and NC State University,
with a Bachelors degree in Economics. She has
experience originating and processing loans with the
third largest credit union prior to joining Franklin
Funding. Heather enjoys playing tenor sax in her
church orchestra and lives in Mt. Pleasant, SC with
her husband and two children. She has been with
Franklin Funding since 2008. |
